Picking the right contractor makes all of the difference. Know your rights as a customer. Many Mobile Home Movers don't carry the proper insurance. This puts you and your home at harm. It is your right to request to see current insurance policies and business licenses. It is also a good idea to call and confirm that the policies are valid. Meet your contract face to face, get to know them and set clear expectations and ask question on anything that you may not understand. There are a lot of good contractors out there, so get a few quotes but be cautious of bids lower than the average bids you have received.
